Overview

Stress Management

This program explores topics such as: the physiological impact of stress and tension, environmental and psychological stressors, identifying your own personal tension zones, muscle relaxation techniques, imagery relaxation and meditation, how to develop your own personal relaxation program. Upon course completion, each participant will be able to identify area of stress and tension in their lives and where it is stored within their body, perform a muscle relaxation exercise, and perform an imagery and meditation exercise.

Personal Health and Fitness

This program is presented by on of our fitness trainers and will provide an analysis of exercise and health habits, outline a fitness profile and make suggestions for healthy lifestyle changes primarily through activity and exercise. The fitness program will include instruction on how to develop your own individualized exercise plan, and is designed to provide the tools and information necessary to make regular fitness a part of each participant’s life.

Nutritional Awareness

This program was designed and is presented by a certified professional nutritionists. The program educates participants on macronutrients, vitamins & minerals, the importance of proper hydration, nutrition labels on foods, and fad diet trends. This program provides a foundation of nutritional understanding, upon which individual needs can be assessed and plans put into action.

Weight Management

This seminar builds upon the information presented in the nutritional awareness program, and focuses more upon specific modifications to be made to an individual’s dietary intake in order to affect change. This program is intended to not only address weight loss, but also weight gain and weight maintenance.

By design, there is a significant amount of interaction between the audience and presenter in order to better mold the presentation to the needs of the employees. The meaning of body composition versus body weight , as well as common eating disorders and struggles are common points of discussion.
